Connect Stripe, Paystack, Flutterwave or another provider to accept online payments.
Payment gateways are how customers pay you online. You can connect more than one and pick the default — useful if you sell in multiple regions or currencies.
- Open Payment Gateways
Go to Payment Gateways in the sidebar. The page lists every gateway you've already connected, the provider's masked secret key, and which one is marked Default.
- Start a new gateway
Click Add payment gateway. Pick the provider from the dropdown — common ones are Stripe, Paystack and Flutterwave.
- Enter your credentials
Paste the public key, secret key, and (if the provider needs it) merchant ID and encryption key from your provider's dashboard. Give it a friendly label so you can tell gateways apart.
- Pick test or live mode
Toggle Live mode on for production payments, or leave it off to use test mode with sandbox keys while you check the flow.
- Set active and default
Toggle Active on to enable the gateway at checkout. Toggle Default on for the gateway that should be selected first when customers pay.
- Choose who pays the fees
Review the processing fee rate for your plan, then pick whether the vendor bears the fees or the customer pays the fees at checkout. Save and you're ready to take payments.
