Add a countdown timer

Create urgency with a banner that counts down to a sale or launch.

A countdown is one of the simplest ways to push fence-sitters into buying. Use it sparingly — if every week is "the last day", customers stop believing you.

1. Open Countdown

   From the sidebar, click Countdown.

2. Write your message

   Enter a short headline like "Black Friday ends in" or "New collection drops in". Keep it under 8 words.

3. Set the end time

   Pick the date and time the countdown should hit zero. Boombiz uses your store's time zone.

4. Pick where it shows

   Choose Top banner (sits above your header) or Homepage section. The top banner is more visible.

5. Turn it on

   Toggle Active and click Save. The countdown appears on your storefront immediately and disappears automatically when it hits zero.
